nicefishfilms is a live documentary film company currently diving deep into the coming Data Tidal-Wave.
I'm the creator of 'The Cube' - it's a real-time moving studio where we gather big thinkers and give them space to un-compact complex ideas. First started at SXSW two years ago, we like to think of it as a traveling TED meets Burning Man with a pinch of Woodstock.
We are powered by NewTek and their TCXD300 Tricaster. The satellite truck 'in a box' allows us to quickly deploy and be on-the-air with a net connection and stream in HD to millions of viewers around the globe. We have chosen JustinTV as our streaming partner.
All of our work (unless noted) is released under Creative Commons to be re-used, remixed and released freely. We believe there is a renaissance in genius thinking happening right now and we strive to cover it. The future is ubiquitous computing connecting our devices and each other to empower grand collaboration in social innovation.
We are in the process of several documentary films and TV projects that will help our culture wrap their imaginations around shifting tides of technology.
